Yoga Therapy
Yoga Therapy is an up-and-coming pathway to wellness. Yoga Therapy works privately with clients or in small groups specific to a wellness goal or specific health condition. This may be chronic pain, heart disease, cancer, anxiety/depression, diabetes, arthritis or many other health issues.
Catherine is a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), which requires at least 1000 hours of training. She received her training in 2021 and has found her background as a mental health therapist to be a strong foundation and complement to yoga therapy which seeks to consider and look at all the different parts of us, including the body, the mind, the emotional and the spiritual or energetic.
Catherine’s primary interest has been nervous system balance through a focus on sleep, movement, supportive relationships, nutrition, mindfulness, mental health and time in nature. Interventions may focus on these as well as specific breath practices, meditation, yoga forms, lifestyle changes and spiritual/relational connection.
Yoga Therapy is a practice that is not currently covered by insurance. Yoga Therapy is a private pay service, costing $80 per hour. Catherine welcomes all ages!
